The Langskip is built by Skipavik, a shipyard in Stykkishólmur, a small town on the west coast of Iceland. Skipavik dates back to 1928 and has been servicing the local fishing fleet since then and building wooden oak plank fishing boats for 80 years. We are not newcomers to shipbuilding but the Landskip is our first yacht. We have a reputation for building solid boats that can withstand the harsh environment of the North Atlantic and the Langskip meets our standards.
